چکیده

Introduction and Aim: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are cell innate immune that explore microbial molecules. A quantity of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) within the TLR genes have been related with altered susceptibility to infectious, inflammatory, allergic diseases suggesting: This study was conducted investigate relationship between genetic polymorphism in TLR4 gene (rs1927911) UTIs a sample Iraqi patients. Materials Methods: Blood samples were collected from 220 patients who had 69 healthy subjects as control group, during period October 2021 March 2022, at Rheumatology Department Clinic Consultant Al-Yarmouk Hospital. The included an extraction genomic DNA PCR technique, detect role variation site risk factor for incidence UTIs. Results: results genotype distribution allele frequency rs1927911 indicated, CC (18.6 %), CT (70 %) TT (11.4 among while 57.9 % 26.1%; 16% CT, genotypes respectively control. Heterozygous (CT) may be considered revealed significant differences controls serum levels TLR4, IL-6 IL-2, TNF-alpha IL-10 P 0.005. In addition, data found highly difference level protein carrier genotype. Conclusion: our findings indicated carriers significantly more prone

Association of Toll-Like Receptor 4 Gene Polymorphism and Expression with Urinary Tract Infection Types in Adults

BACKGROUND Innate immunity of which Toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 and CXCR1 are key elements plays a central role in the development of urinary tract infection (UTI). Although the relation between the genetics of TLR4 and CXCR1 and UTI is investigated partly, the polymorphisms and expression of TLR4 and CXCR1 in different types of UTI in adults are not extremely clear. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FIND...

Objective(s): This study was aimed to evaluate whether single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of TLR4 and common living habits of prostate hyperplasia (BPH) patients would affect the subjects’ risk and prognosis.Materials and Methods: We totally recruited 501 BPH patients and 964 healthy controls. The patients’ international prostate symptom score (IPSS) and quality of life assessment (QoL) wer...

Clinical Value of Toll Like Receptor 4 and CD14 in Children with Acute Lower Respiratory Tract Infection

Toll like receptors (TLRs) with a myeloid differentiation antigen (CD14) recognize and bind various structures from invading microbes and then trigger cell activation. They initiate a variety of effectors' functions, including cytokine secretion, proliferation, co-stimulation or phagocyte maturation. The aim of this study was to evaluate Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and CD14 expression in childr...
